Timing and assessment

Papers will be distributed after the Week 7 midterm. Student presentations take place only in Weeks 13–14 and contribute 15% of the course grade.

The paper list, allocation, presentation duration, speaking order and rubric will be announced here.

Reading a paper

Identify whose problem is being addressed, what changes in the proposed interaction, how the authors evaluated it, and what the evidence does and does not support. Relate the contribution to the concepts and methods studied in the lectures.
