- Log into Ubuntu with your own account and open a terminal.
- Confirm that you can save a small text file in your permitted workspace and reopen it.
- Find the CSE101/CSE107 course pages and the Teams course channel.
- Confirm how to preserve work before logging out of a shared PC.
- Locate VizMachine with the TA; no assembly exercise is required today.
- Record any access problem and tell the TA before leaving.
Every student must obtain their own Arduino kit. Regular Arduino work begins in Lab 5. The purchase deadline and final basic parts list will be announced; do not buy an LCD or extra modules for this orientation.
Prelabs are released Friday evening for the next week's lab and are submitted the day before that lab. Reports are due the following week. Use the announced Teams deadlines for exact times and exceptions.
